Wash & Care of Cloth Diaper ?

Caring for cloth diapers is easy.                                                      

·    Machine-washing your diapers before the first use.

·    Pre-wash your diapers with regular clothes for 3-4 times.

·    Don't use bleach products.

·    Don't use fabric softener or product that contain fabric softener.

·    Don't use natural soap products such as pure glycerine soap.

·    Don't use nappy barrier or balm cream: If you want to use cream because of severe rash, use nappy liners to prevent cream getting onto the fleece. Alternatively you can use natural starch to keep the bum dry.

  

Washing cloth diaper is really easy!

Use 2 liners one to capture most of the runny breast-fed poo.

Throw away soiled nappy liner

 

Use toilet spray (or turn on the shower at higher spray power) to remove most of the stain.

Squirt some soap on the diaper

Rinse the diaper

Take out the insert and give it a good rinse as well

Squeeze dry to put in basket to wait for wash in washing machine

C. Strip-washing diapers

  1. Fill a sink with hot water
  2. Add in some dish washing detergent.
  3. Hand wash your diapers, rubbing the fleece vigorously together or use a medium bristle dish brush or hard bristle tooth brush to scrub the fleece.
  4. Turn inside out and repeat on this side.
  5. Rinse well, making sure that the water runs clear.
  6. Toss to washing machine and wash without detergent.

Kao Attack powder form yield the best result. Dynamo and Persil seems to give rise to this repelling issue.
