What is diaper cover?

• Diaper cover is a waterproof layer that prevents urine from leaking out if your non waterproof diaper, such as your fitted diapers, or even your traditional nappy or prefold.

•  It is optional and a personally choice of whether you want to put on diaper cover or not.

• It may not  be necessary too, if your  baby does not wet  much.
• If you don’t put on the cover, your baby will be simply ‘coverless’ and this is perfectly fine, especially in our warm weather.
• Diaper cover usually comes with different sizes
• It dry easily under the  hot sun or simply air  dry it under the fan. It takes  around ½ - 2 hours to dry.

How many diaper cover do I need?

• It depends. Probably just 1-2 for interchange for day use, and 1 for night use. Since diaper covers are  usually easy to dry, you can always wash and reuse  them in the next day.

What can I do if I decide not to use diaper cover during nap time?

• You can prevent urine from leaking directly onto the baby mattress by placing a piece of old ‘sarong’/cloth on the sleeping mattress. If the baby doesn’t wet it, then you can always still use it for next time, else just wash it together with other clothes. This way you will save money too!
